Take advantage of Telemedicine Services for Self-Isolation

The Ministry of Health provides teleconsultation and free medicines to support patients' needs during isomanism. Through this service, patients can consult online with doctors without any time limit. Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said with this telemedicine service, all positive confirmed COVID-19 patients would receive timely medical services. People do not need to queue at the hospital. That way, hospital services can be prioritized for patients with moderate and severe symptoms.
Currently, free telemedicine services from the government are connected to 17 telemedicine platforms. One of them, SehatQ.
"SehatQ is ready to help the public so they can consult online with doctors on our platform when experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. This teleconsultation will help reduce patient mobility and the bed occupancy rate or hospital occupancy rate," said HealthQ Chief Commercial Officer Andrew Sulistya in a written statement, Friday, February 4, 2022.
There are a number of procedures for obtaining free telemedicine services from the government. For example, patients must perform a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test or an antigen swab in a laboratory that is included in the Ministry of Health's New All Record (NAR) network.
If the result is positive, the patient will receive a message from the Ministry of Health via WhatsApp. The Ministry of Health will provide a code to get teleconsultation facilities and free medicine through the message. After that, patients can consult online with a doctor at one of the telemedicine service providers.
Next, the doctor will give a prescription according to the patient's condition. The drug package that the patient gets will be adjusted according to the prescription. Furthermore, patients can redeem drugs on the site https://isoman.kemkes.go.id/message_obat.
