Were you nervous? It sounds like you were, especially in the beginning. You have a lovely voice and I have a feeling that you can do much more. At the end of the song you sounded really good, after mark 2:00 you SHOWED EMOTION!!! It was really nice to hear, up until then you were like a robot, trying to hit the notes correctly and not giving yourself into the song, not feeling it. At moments it felt like someone was forcing you to do this and like you were suffering because of it with a wish to be over as soon as possible. But then, that 2:00 came and everything changed, you started singing, not reading the words with a little melody, but SINGING, and it was really good. You have a nice voice tone and quality, just try to relax more and let your voice out, you have nothing to fear.

Oh, and I would love to hear you sing something a bit closer to your voice range, not so high pitched like this song. Try covering voices that are lower, country or old rock singers. My suggestions: Pearl Jam, The Dead South, George Ezra, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, REM...

Oh, and the last thing, if I did not know that you rap, I would have guessed it after listening to this cover of yours :) But, to be fair, this song easily takes you to rapping if you are not to careful. And since this is you, and you sound like you are raping even when you are talking... :D
