The party can start: I have arrived
Hello! I have recently joined Steemit to further my learning and networking. I am currently a graduate student at Asbury Theological Seminary pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have a Bachelor of Science in Children's Ministry from Indiana Wesleyan University, where I graduated from in 2016. My emphasis in the counseling field is working with children. I intend to become a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) in addition to a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPT).
I currently work on campus at ATS and am a freelance writer for Annesley Writers. In my spare time, I enjoy reading everything I can about counseling psychology and child development. I also enjoy reading classic literature.
I am a strong believer in holistic health and try to be as healthy as I can. I was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis when I was 3 years old, and I have spent a big part of my life trying to figure out to be healthy. I enjoy finding ways to eat well, exercise, and keep my brain active and engaged.
I am also a Christian. I believe that the love of Christ is modeled in his disciples, so I strive to set an example of what love and generosity look like. I am dedicating my life to helping others and learning how to love them well.
