COSS Weekly Volume Report: Week 3 (June 18 to June 25)
Hi all,
Will be a relatively short report this week, pretty slow week, not much happening :p
Overview of Volume
Average Total 24h volume ($) for this week was 1.483 M (-21%), with a maximum of 2.312 M and a minumum of 0.75 M. Total trading volume over this week was 11.048 M.
Below you can see the 24h trading volume since the start of data collection (May 27). Average 24h volume ($) over this period was 1.953M. You can clearly see the correlate between peak volumes and the end of the CRED, LAN, FXT and PGT promos. Next week, we will have 3 promo's ending (BWT, UFR, XNK), so volume should increase over the next few days. You can already see the rise to 3M at the end of the graph.
Average 24h volume ($) for the ETH-BTC pair was 13,808 $ (-35%).
Average 24h volume ($) for the FIAT pairs was 24,394 $ (+14%). Ten new USD pairs got added last week (BCH, ICX, ZEN, DASH, EOS, LSK, OMG, ARK, XEM & WAVES). Together with the lowering of the minimum USD deposit to 500$, this should result in increased FIAT volume in the next few weeks. We already see increased FIAT volume (up to 50k $) the last couple of days.
Fee Split Allocation
This week's snapshot for the Token-Based Fee Split Allocation was taken at Ethereum block 5850709. The FSA USD value per COSS is still the same as last 3 weeks (0.000096634311 $), so still cannot calculate average trading fees.
Promos
At the moment, there are 3 active promo's (BWT, XNK & UFR). These promo's are nearing their end next week, and volume is already picking up (+3M $)! Wash trade away, boys!

Community Initiatives
Finally, I want to take the chance to point out other community initiatives.
/r/communityProjectsCoss: A new subreddit created to group all COSS community projects: https://www.reddit.com/r/communityProjectsCoss/
CELT Bot: Spielley's bot that reduces the spread of all the pairs on the exchange. You can buy CELT tokens to provide liquidity to the bot. Value of CELT increases week per week, so if you want to support the COSS exchange, go for it.

Sharing Data
If anyone is interested in the data, feel free to contact me. I have time series of volumes for each pair on COSS since the end of May (frequency of 15 minutes). If someones wants to do something with this data, let me know. There is quite alot that you can do with it (e.g. analyse the efficiency of trading promo's) but I don't always have the time to do it ;)
Suggestions, Remarks, Questions
If you have any suggestions for future content, remarks on possible wrong calculations, or questions related to this report, feel free to ask. You can contact me cossvolumereport[at]gmail[.]com, on the COSS telegram (@ Ghyger) or on Reddit (@ DoubleG-).
