The above is a photo shot from the balcony of a timeshare in Atlantic City (New Jersey) on a winter's day. It became a perfect backdrop to just stare out over the landscape and reflect on things. At the present time, timeshares are pretty much meaningless with most of the country under lockdown. While things are slowly beginning to open up, I have the sneaky feeling that things won't be the same for awhile.
This does lead to some questions, though. With pop-up drive-in theaters starting to open, will they be showing first-run productions and will the ever tantalizing movie popcorn be available? With no public fireworks displays being available, will individual towns lighten up on their own private fireworks restrictions? How long will it be nearly impossible to get toilet paper? Will some eateries begin to answer their phones more often when trying to order for delivery or curbside pickup?
Has the coronavirus lockdowns affected the steem platform? I ask this because the whole steeming process seems different from when I first joined a year ago. I remember some people trying to warn about what was going on with the platform, but I never got the whole story. I would like to know if this platform is still worth posting on or if the rules have changed! Not receiving any official notice doesn't help in regards to answering my questions.
How are those businesses who were forced to close going to be able to reopen easily and still survive? I know from past business experiences that the strong will survive, but this is going to require some creative operational procedures when they first reopen. Too many companies have already stated that they are not returning!
Is it fair to consider the XFL a failure for shutting down again? They were just beginning to gain momentum when they were taken down by a pandemic. Maybe McMahon needs to just stick with wrestling and leave football alone? While wrestling is taking place without a live audience, some sports are considering having a taped crowd for a noise effect. Others have suggested a virtual audience!
While flipping through the channels, I came across "Blacklist," but it was animated! I wonder if this was their way of dealing with the current situation? There is even a television program of celebrities in their home watching television programs! Isn't it bad enough that most of us are forced to be couch potatoes? Now, we get to see celebrities doing the same thing! Anyway, I am going to end my rambling now and leave other thoughts for another day. Hopefully, one with a cure or vaccination in its future!
