Nature is re-claiming its space in indian Cities

This is my first post in the community. I hope it gets upvoted.

COVID-19 forced the countries to lockdown the cities. The objective is simple - create the culture of social distancing and stop the virus from spreading. I belong to the city, which is a financial capital of India. Just like London or Singapore, my city Mumbai is also a financial capital. Many banks, many regulators and financial institutions are located in Mumbai.
It is always said about my city that Mumbai never sleeps. But during the first few days of the lockdown, Mumbai slept well.

Otherwise the city was crowded, it has highest density of population. In last 3 decades i have never seen this kind of silence in Mumbai. At any given time, you will see atleast 1000 pedestrians walking on any street of Mumbai. The photograph above is clicked outside the most important government office.

Due to the ever increasing population, Mumbai lost its birds. The birds were migrating from Mumbai due to the migration of the people in Mumbai. The city which hosts everyone equally. The COVID-19 emerged as the boom for these birds. They have started re-claiming their space just outside the Gateway of India. Corona has affected the human beings and not the birds. Today, we humans are in the place of locked birds and the birds are watching us from outside. Nature finds ways to re-claim its space.

The city which never sleeps, was found to be locked down due to the corona spread. But it really obeyed the instructions. Above photo is just symbolic which shows that lock down literally means locking down all the buildings and monuments. This is the only way we human beings can fight with the pandemic such as Corona.

For last 45 days, i have been locked in this city and the more i am seeing the city, I am loving it. I am re-discovering the calm and peace in the city which i experienced 2 decades ago. Corona lockdown made me remember my good old days.
