RE: YouTube Starts Seriously Enforcing COPPA - An Opportunity For Steem
Hello dear friend @markkujantunen.
So we are facing a case of excess legislation or something like that?
We cannot deny that some method should be implemented to protect children who surf the Internet helplessly. Youtube is a platform with great traffic, there is material for children and also many publications with sensitive content.
Can we say that with this new package of restrictions is something really being done to protect the mental health of children?
So what happens to the rest of the internet? If a child mistakenly Google a phrase that alludes to sex, he would be bombarded by tons of pornography that would immediately jump before his innocent eyes.
So these measures are not effective at all.
All best, Piotr.
I agree. This isn't effective at all. But huts YouTube and that is an opportunity for Steem-based video hosting apps.
Thanks for your prompt reply @markkujantunen
ps.
