Holy hell lady, good thing you didn't go by the liquor cabinet while you were making these.
I have been known to doctor a few recipes myself a time or two so I shouldn't being throwing scones at you for this. Stones maybe, but no scones.
That sugar on the top was just icing on the cake I guess, glad they turned out well. What did the husband think we he tried them?
HA!!!!! it probably was a very good thing :D and he really loved them. But he is a sweet eater so the sugar on top was for him :D
