In my mamas kitchen: yummy drumsticks in tomato gravy!
Ingredients :
- 2 drumsticks chopped at 2 inches height each
- 3 tomatoes chopped and made Puree
- 2 curry leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon wheat flour mixed in 3 tea spoon water
- chilly powder 2 teaspoon
- turmeric powder a pinch
- coriander powder one teaspoon
- salt to taste
- coriander leaves for garnishing
- oil for tempering
- a few mustard seeds
- a few urad dal
- asafoetida a pinch
cooking time : 15 minutes
serves 2 people
In a container boil the chopped drumstick with one glass of water.
These boil in about 5 to 10 minutes, keep them aside after boiling.
Take a pan and put quarter teaspoon oil with the mustard seeds, urad dal & asafoetida
after the tempering add the tomato gravy into it ( chopped and beat tomatoe)
