A simple recipe for Bruschetta with cheese and baked pepper

Making a bruschetta is not more difficult than a regular sandwich. The only subtlety is to serve it right after cooking so that the bread is crispy. A simple recipe for Bruschetta with cheese and baked pepper.

Ingredients

  • 6 pieces of baguette;
  • 2 Bulgarian peppers;
  • 125 g of soft brynza or feta;
  • 2 cloves garlic;
  • 3-4 sprigs of fresh basil;
  • ground black pepper - to taste;
  • olive oil.

Preparation

Peppers bake to black podpalin in the oven, heated to 200 degrees. This will take about half an hour. Put hot peppers in a plastic bag, a container with a tight-fitting lid or wrap it in a foil well and leave it alone for 15 minutes.

In the meantime, sprinkle the baguette slices with olive oil and dry it in the oven until crispy. With chilled peppers, peel and seeds, cut the flesh into thin strips. Brynza or fetu mash and mix with chopped garlic and ground pepper. At this stage, you can add basil or leave it to sprinkle ready bruschetta - as you like.

Lay the cheese mass on the bread, top with strips of baked pepper, sprinkle finely chopped basil. If desired, sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil.
