Hungarian Dinner
I tried my luck with a classic Hungarian dish tonight called "Lacipecsenye" this name may not make any sense to you but it was absolutely delicious! Basically it's a street food served all around the markets in Hungary but you can make it a full on meal. Made of pork neck marinated (12 hrs) in Hungarian spices and goose fat. Then a quick fry each side in some oil just to seal the meat.
Then transfer the meat to a baking dish with lid top with sautéed onions (in the same oil) and some diced potatoes seasoned with salt & pepper.
Bake for about 45-50 minutes take the lid off and bake some more until the potatoes are golden.
Sprinkle with some chopped parsley and serve with Hungarian Beer! (or your choice of beverage)
