Whoo hoo I have earned a badge.
I did not even know I could earn badges, so this is great news. lol. I'll just keep poking around this new page and keep learning all I can. I can read your hints just fine, but I am more of a "watch" learner, so if someone wants to help tutor me, come on. One of the reasons I started doing the YT vids is because my grandchildren encouraged me. Two of my subscribers even said they were not interested in reading cookbooks, because they got more out of a how-to video where they could actually see the steps involved to complete a recipe. So, I will keep doing them for the grandkids and those subscribers who are also "watch" learners. I am posting a picture of my "Cheater's Cherry Cobbler". You will have to watch the video to see why I called it "Cheater's" Find it under Burta Lancaster in YT. Once I learn how to post videos here, I will import some of them. Till then: "Later"
Here is a link to this YouTube video:
Thanks, public. Did you figure out why I call it Cheater?
Sorry, I am not a YouTuber so I am not sure of the technicalities.

Hi @ grannycooks, it's pretty easy to embed video's into steemit.
Just copy the URL of your video
And then paste it into the body text of your steemit post.
Make sure before doing so that the options in YouTube will allow it to be seen here.
I hope this helps and welcome to Steemit :-)
Hi Geordie, thanks for the good tips and comments. I am learning to use this little by little. I look forward to seeing your page as soon as possible.
No worries, anything else I might be able to help with, I'm happy to do so.
