Finger licking good Makhni Chicken Karhai [Darshna’s Kitchen – Secret Recipe 1]

I wouldn’t praise myself but trust me I cook the best. And that’s why I am going to start a series of all the Asian/Pakistani food for you all. I want you to try it because you will yourself say it with “It is finger licking GOOD”. So let’s start with what we need for the recipe.

Ingredients:

Ginger Paste                                    1 tbs
Garlic Paste                                      1 tbs
Lemon Juice                                     2 tbs
Onion                                                 (big size 1 or medium size 2)
Tomato                                               1
Red Mirch Powder                          1 tbs to 1-1/2tbs
Salt                                                      According to taste
Turmeric                                           Half tbs
Coriander powder                          1 tbs to 1-1/2tbs
Garam Masala                                  half tbs
Butter                                                  3 tbs
Roasted cumin zeera Powder      1 tbs to 1-1/2tbs
Yogurt                                                Half Cup
Ginger                                                cut in julien shape
Green Chillies                                  2 to 3 (cut in julien shape)
TetraPack Cream                            2 to 3 tbs
Chicken Boneless                           1 Kg
Or With bones

Recipie:

Making of Roasted Zeera Cumin Powder:

Take 4 to 5 tbs of cumin and put it on a low flame and stir continuously for 1 minute and roast the cumin. Then take it off from the gas and cool down the cumin and place the roasted cumin in grinder. You roasted cumin powder is ready now store it in any jar.

For Marination:

Take Chicken in a bowl and add ginger garlic paste, Lemon juice, Yogurt, Red mirch powder, salt, turmeric, coriander powder, and put this mixture in refrigerator for 1 or half hour.

Making of Chicken:

Take an onion and peel it off blend the onion in grinder and on other side put half cup oil in a pan and also add butter in the pan. Then add blended onion in pan and stir continuously when it turn in to light brown, add blended tomato stir the mixture for 2 to 3 minutes then add marinated chicken in pan. And cover the pan with lid and keep it on medium flame after 10 to 15 minutes open the lid and you see that your chicken is almost ready then add garam masala and roasted cumin powder in it and stir it add little water in the pan and also add cream and put it on low flame for 5 minutes and then put it in a serving bowl and add green chillies and ginger in the end. Your chicken is completely ready now.
