Banana Chocolate Bread/Cake
Moist and delicious, perfect together with a cup of tea or coffee. :)
Ingredients:
- 150 grams of chocolate (milk/dark or mixed)
- 150 grams unsalted melted butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 eggs
- 160 grams flour
- 70 grams brown sugar
- 80 grams white sugar
** 4 bananas
**1 - 2 tbsp white sugar
** 1 tbsp butter
Preheat the oven to 180 C / 350 F . Line a wide baking pan with baking paper, cut the bananas into thin slices and place them into the pan, top up with 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp butter. Bake in oven for 5 - 10 minutes until golden brown, then take them out and let them cool down.
Meanwhile whisk together eggs and sugar until the mixture looks lighter in color, then add the flour and baking powder. Mix it all together.
Break or cut the chocolate into smaller pieces. Add the chocolate, melted butter and baked banana to the mixture.
Mix well and pour the batter into a baking pan lined with baking paper. Bake for 40 minutes to 1 hour or until a tooth pick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
It tastes better than it looks I promise :)
