HOW TO COOK ACKEE AND SALTFISH JAMAICAN STYLE

Blessed love to all my people, hope you are having a marvelous time wherever you guys are today I am going to show you how ,we cook AcKee and Salt fish here in Jamaica. Hope you love my presentation, my name is Mikhail but my Steemit name is X files.
INGREDIENT NEEDED.

2 DOZEN ACKEE
1 LARGE TOMATO
1 SMALL COUNTRY PEPPER
1 PINCH OF BLACK PEPPER
1 SMALL ONION
½ POUND OF SALTFISH

PREPARATION

Well it should be fairly easy to make this dish first we start off with cleaning of the ackees. Make sure to remove the membrane inside that is poisonous to the body, it should not be eaten. After that we will be putting 4 cups of water to boil, when it reaches a boil place the cleaned ackees and saltfish into the water.

Make this boil for about 10 minutes until tender, not soft that will make ackee paste
when finished take ackee and salfish. And place to one side now we will be making the finishing touches. Take your onion and Tomatoes and slice them to make smaller, after that place a frying pot on stove with some oil, fry onion and tomato until you can smell them all around along with the saltfish.

Fry for about 3 minutes then place ackee into frying pot add a pinch of water slow cook for 5 minutes then you are finish. It will serve about six people, It can be eaten with virtuall anything bread rice cookdumpling are my favourite or johnny cakes take care my people love goes to you all keep reading for more jamaican menus.
