Weekend Snack # 2
Croquette
Ingredients
1 Egg Yolk
2 tablespoon Milk Powder
2 tablespoon Cheddar Cheese, grated
Salt and Pepper
Filling
150 grams Minced Meat50 grams Bacon, raw chopped
2 Carrot, little dice
1 Onion, raw chopped
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg powder
Salt and Sugar
Coated
1/12 cups Bread crumbs1 Egg
Making Steps
In medium bowl mix mashed potato, egg yolk, milk powder, cheese, salt and pepper powder.
Spoon the dough and make ball in your hand, flatten and fill with filling, mold the dough again to oval shape.
Place breadcrumbs on plate, whisk egg and milk together in a shallow bowl. Dip croquettes in mixture egg and coat with breadcrumbs, cover with plastic wrap and insert in fridge about 1/2 - 1 hour.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan in high heat. Cook croquettes for 3 to 4 minutes or until golden. Transfer to a serving plate lined with paper towel.
Better serve with chili sauce and mayonnaise.
