World Water Day Contest | Steem the value of water and win Steem

Green greetings Steemians,
Today 22nd of March 2021 is being commemorated globally as world water day under the theme “Valuing Water”. In a bid to #valuewater, I wish to encourage Steemians around the globe to raise their voices about the precious liquid on which life depends on by participating in this one week World Water Day Contest.

The World Water Day celebrates water and raises awareness of the global water crisis, and a core focus of the observance is to support the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.
Today, water is under extreme threat from a growing population, increasing demands of agriculture and industry, and the worsening impacts of climate change.
As societies balance the demands on water resources, many people’s interests are not being taken into account.
This year´s theme World Water Day is about what water means to people, it's true value and how we can better protect this vital resource. The value of water is about much more than its price – water has enormous and complex value for our households, culture, health, education, economics and the integrity of our natural environment. If we overlook any of these values, we risk mismanaging this finite, irreplaceable resource.

Without a comprehensive understanding of water’s true, multidimensional value, we will be unable to safeguard this critical resource for the benefit of everyone.

The Steem World Water Day contest is therefore aimed at tasking Steemians to share how valuable water is to them. We will very much appreciate the support of the Steemit Team for this contest @steemitblog @steemcurator01 especially at the level of rewarding the best 3 entries.
