SteemMonsters Home Advantages

How is your #SteemMonsters battling going? I'm finding the various different conflicts to be very interesting, and the changes sure keep the interest and activity going around here! I wonder what the next conflict will be? One thing that has been mentioned by the developers, but we haven't seen implemented yet, is a sort of "home advantage" for battling within certain arena's. I'm really looking forward to that!

I recently came across some lovely artwork for a game called Creature Battle Lab (CBL), which put me in mind of the various different arena's of SteemMonsters. I immediately made a mashup image, using these arena images from CBL and the characters from SteemMonsters, just to see what it might look like. I think this looks like a whole lot of fun! Also, it put me in mind of the "home advantage" feature that has been mentioned before. What advantage would each Splinter get for fighting in their own homeland? It might be a simple buff (eg. Inspire  for all monsters in the Team) or maybe a debuff against the opponents, like my example above of Slow  for all non-Anumun monsters.

This has led me to creating another contest, to see what people think some of the "home advantages" might be. I've made some blank mashup images for Lyveria, Ferexia, Khymia, Azmare, and MorTis. Click on the icons here to select and download one of them, then add some monsters and a summoner to it, (as I've done in my example in the post thumbnail image), and add some text for the home advantage you think might be implemented for that Splinter. I want to see what you think the "home advantage" might be for one Splinter in the game. Sorry, I didn't do a mashup image for the  Draykh-Nahka  Splinter in this contest. Think of it as being like one of the conflicts in the SteemMonsters battle arena: "No Dragons!" Haha.

🎯 Action(s) Required

1. To enter this contest, you first need to download (right-click and select "Save Link As...") one of the mashup images that I have created, which uses the arena images from Creature Battle Lab (CBL).
   
   Choose one: Lyveria, Ferexia, Khymia, Azmare, or MorTis
   
   
2. Make your own remix image using the blank you downloaded, and add the SteemMonsters monsters and a summoner for each of two teams, one being from the Splinter of the arena you have selected.
3. Add some text for the "home advantage" you think will apply for the Splinter you have selected.
4. Post your completed image as a reply to this post.
5. All entries that have followed all of the steps above will be considered as equally likely to win, and there is no right or wrong answer. The winner will be drawn from among the submitted entries.

The Draw

• The names of all contest entrants who have submitted a valid entry will be entered into this random name picker from MiniWebTool and a winner will be selected at random.
• The winner announcement post will contain a screenshot showing all the names of those who submitted valid entries, along with the random winner selected. If possible, there may also be a video of the draw, depending on technical capability. The draw will not be livestreamed, however, as I already know that this is beyond my current capabilities, sorry.

📅 The Due Date

• Entries for this contest 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘁 be received within 7 days precisely of the post timestamp on the Steem blockchain. Entries received after that time 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁 be eligible for prizes, at the judge's discretion.
• All things being equal, prizes should be sent out to the prizewinners within 2 days of the closing of entries. See also the ⛔ Cancellation Policy below.
