Lunch today was not a pleasant meal. I was pressed for time as work was pretty busy, so I grabbed a small bag of chips from the local takeaway. I ended up with ridiculously bad heartburn afterwards.

For lunch, I grilled up a Beyond Burger for myself and stepdad and feel good about cutting more meat out of our diets!
I've been surprised by how much I've enjoyed the Beyond Burgers versus a traditional beef burger. It's a bit more expensive, but feels healthier and that I'm doing something good for the environment :)
I paired the burger with an ice cold Dog n Suds root beer! This particular root beer is quite difficult to find and is a midwest favorite.

I only read this post after I just ate my lunch - but I had an egg sunny side up with some baked potatoes and a slice of bread with butter on - I just love it when my bread soaks up the egg yoke :)

I ate a quiche, sort of a pie you put in the oven with cheese, brocolli, salmon and with a crusty edge.
Yum!
Home made or store bought? Sounds like a nice combination of ingredients 👍
I ate some potatoes and rice. That's all I had left from yesterday's dinner. 😂
