Mini-Contest!!!! - Fortnite FTW - Give Me A Game You Want To See With A Battle Royale Mode (3 hours)
Hey people of steem,
You got three hours to give me a game you would want to see with a battle royale mode. It could be any game. Even mario with 100 marios running around trying to jump on each other. Mine is Twisted Metal, that game would be perfect for this genre. And no COD because they are already adding one to their next game. Which I will be trying for sure.
Try to be creative and you can add blockchain too.

I think it be fun for a survival against the environment + battle royal mode. Been a while since I’ve played Don’t Starve but when I think of all the in-game mechanics you need to keep in mind just to stay alive. I can only imagine how much harder it would be adding in a battle royal mode onto of all that as well.
Not only would you have to keep moving so you could not just set up camp in a single area and build it up. You would also have to find a way to deal with the different seasons, rain, traveling at night. Do you dare set up a large campfire that could be seen by others or just risk it moving along with a small troch light? Do you take the risk of jumping down a hole or keep moving forward.
Be a bit embarrassing if you died from going crazy or starvation than to the spear of another person! It might also wide the audience that could enjoy this kind of thing.
The wolves spawning every evening could be a way to keep players moving towards the center. Stray to far behind and suddenly players at least of your worries.

When I think back to Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow with these cool settings like the djungles of Indonesia, the maritime docking station for submarines, the railways in Paris, the US embassy in East Timor and the adventure in Jerusalem, I would love to see a Battle Royal mode.
The way this would look is that depending on the number of participants in the battle royal, each one will have one or more allies (so there could be something like groups of three or four as well), yet to add some spiciness into the mode, nobody will know who is allied with whom upon entering the game, for the computer randomly and secretly decides this so that each one would have to find out for themselves!
The catch here is that as a participant you don't know whom you can trust. So it can very well be that you hide from your own ally and the both of you chase each other without noticing that you are allies.
Here, another cool option comes in: the possibility of killing your ally. In case you turn this option off, this would mean that you will finally know that this is your ally because you are impervious to his guns' bullet, or when he sneaks behind you to garrote you it says: not possible. From then on, you can cooperate.
Yet in case you turn this option on, it might very well be that you kill your own ally. This option would premise that one participant knows with whom they ally in that battle. Of course, this option requires more of a sure instinct by both. The one who knows his ally would need to develop some ideas as to how he can signal this to his ally, while the ally would have to interpret the signals accordingly.
This allows for tons of unique scenarios. Then let's say that out of all those detective gadgets you can choose three and out of all guns you can choose 3 as well, allowing for some more strategic approach, even in case you and your ally choose the same gadgets and guns. Finally, you could win bonus points for certain achievements, like killing your opponent most stealthily, or cooperative combos..
Add in the great soundtrack, and fun is guaranteed! ;)

Wow, so many possibilities, I'm going to go the Legend of Zelda, taking breath of the wild's map into account.
I would certainly love to run around battling other people with swords, bows, and bombs in order to become the best hero of Hyrule. Food would be used to restore health just like in breath of wild.
There could be a possibility to "hack" with magic the ancient machines to attack your opponents and also lure some enemies into them.
There could be a lot of customization in the form of clothing, armor, and boots. You could also incorporate Zelda: Majora's masks type of items where for a limited amount of time you can transform into a Zora, Goron, Deku or have faster speed with the bunny hood, the possibilities here are almost unlimited.
Certain skins would be available so can your character be a wide variety of Nintendo favorites. This can also work with existing and new amibos introducing new items, or new skins into the game.
You could also link the game to a Nintendo DS and have a portable version too. There is a lot that can be achieved with the Nintendo brand since it spans a lot of franchises and two systems that could interact to bring you a unique and great experience in a battle royale game.
Think it would work? I think Nintendo should do it NOW!

So many good memories playing Twisted Metal lol! I played hours of that game on my PS1, i think i even burnt a disc after playing it for so long.
I'm going to go with Fallout here, imagine the posibilites of battle royale on the Fallout universe, fighting on the destroyed DC, the weapons in fallout are pretty cool, I imagine a Fat Man would be a legendary weapon of sorts, even with just 1 ammo it would be insanely op! but i think the battle royale mode would shine even more if the battle happened on a vault, it would be like Fortnite or PUBG but with claustrophobia, every corner you turn around would be a possible death since there could be a player there waiting for you and the overseer office could probably have tons of good loot, so everyone would be rushing there at the beginning and then spreading out.
Don't even get me started on power armors, a total game changer if you get them too! Limited use of course, like in fallout 4 but with only one fusion core that depletes faster or it would be too op.
Instead of Thanos as an especial event, there could be a deathclaw invasion in the area you are in or a Brotherhood airship suddenly crashes on the battlefield, full of good loot, totally insane, would play it 100%. I don't know what to expect about Fallout 76 though, many rumors going around but i will wait until an official announcement happens at E3!
I was going to say Fallout but you beat to it! I was in the middle of my explanation, saw your post and scratch everything lol.
Things I would add to your idea is, being able to hack turrets, Sentry Bots, Mr. Gutsy, and Protectrons, to attack your opponents.
That would be so cool too! every in game element should be incorporated including hacking robots and turrets to your benefit!

Destiny would be awesome as it basically already has the maps for it. The gameplay would be great as it would be interesting to see how teams are setup to strategically outlast the others because of the abilities present.
