Personally it's bad. Considering my country, Nigeria where we have churches and mosques than schools you would think it's peaceful as more than 90% of the population is either christian or Muslim. But this is far from the truth, the insurgency faced in the north due to activities of Boko Haram can be traced back to religion. Believe me religion is the problem we have in Africa. It has eaten deep to the extent that any slight problem or setback either domestic or any other faced by a regular African is termed 'spiritual' therefore feeling the need to consult with religion clerics who in turn take advantage of their ignorance to enrich their own pocket. It has also made people lazy to find realistic solution to problems, they instead rely on 'prayers'. Take religion away from Africa and see it blossom
