STEEM POWER GIVEAWAY.png

STOP! HAMM... umm no ... wait ... GIVEAWAY TIME !

Now that I've started things up with an AWFUL joke, and caught your attention, I can go ahead and tell you what this STEEM POWER GIVEAWAY is all about ...

... it's about YOU! And helping you get involved in making STEEMIT awesome!

LINE.png

Let's get started, shall we?
I have decided to DELEGATE exactly 1,500.00 STEEM POWER, yes, that is ONE THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED STEEM POWER to the most proactive curators here on STEEMIT, in an attempt to make STEEMIT as great of a place as it can be, and help content creators get credit for their contribution to the community, with the help of our curators :)

LINE.png

Let's roll our sleeves up and jump right into ...

GIVEAWAY RULES.png

  • CURATION COMES FIRST - Yes, you heard that right. The first rule is that you need to be a proactive curator, that wants to help the community by resteeming and upvoting quality content.
  • MINNOWS UNDER 2,000 SP - Yep, y'all dolphins don't need this. This is for the minnows UNDER 2,000 STEEM POWER, with an eye for quality content and a desire to see the community grow (can't stress this enough).

LINE.png

Let's also take a look at...

HOW TO PARTICIPATE.png

  • COMMENT WITH YOUR TOP 5 CURATED POSTS FROM ONE CATEGORY - Now, this one is more interesting. In order for you to participate, you will need to leave a comment with the links of your top 5 curated posts from one category (you can find them below).
  • CURATE THE CONTENT YOU LINK - Yes, that means you will need to have that content on your blog, for your followers to see. You will need to have everything you link curated by yourself, not someone else. Not only that you will have to resteem, but also upvote that content.

LINE.png

And let's not forget about ...

HOW TO WIN.png

  • GET THE MOST UPVOTES ON YOUR ENTRY COMMENT - This was a challenge for me, deciding if I should be the judge of who wins the giveaway prizes or not. I think it's best to let the community choose the winners. After all, this is what this giveaway is all about - getting involved in the community!

LINE.png

What about the categories you were talking about...?

CATEGORIES.png

  • #1 STEEM HELP / GUIDES - Everything that involves STEEM coin trading, STEEM DOLLARS, STEEM POWER, the STEEMIT blog, STEEMIT tools, guides, help, FAQ - you name it! Everything that newbies will benefit from!
  • #2 ART / PHOTOGRAPHY / MUSIC - Basically everything connected to art, regardless of it's form. Drawing, photography, music, mixes, colors, anything that pleases the eye, and brings value and happiness to the people who see it.
  • #3 LIFE / BLOGGING - You know, the success stories, the daily blogs, the tips or guides for a healthy lifestyle, food and cooking. Anything that has to do with daily blogging or life, content that the community loves.

Feel free to choose any of the categories above. However, please stick to content from just one, to make things nice and clean.

LINE.png

And I guess that's about it ... oh, wait ... there's also...

WINNERS REWARDS.png

There will be 15 total winners, of 100 DELEGATED SP (STEEM POWER) each.
** Delegated SP is a LOAN,

it is not SP you can cash out (Power Down)! **

The rewards are meant to help active curators have a heavier voting power on quality content, and help all the content creators they interact with. Also, with higher voting power, higher curation rewards are given, therefore, everyone involved, will benefit from this.

The contest will run until this post pays out in 7 days. So take your time and make sure you find the best of the best to submit for your entry!

Sort:

Oh my! My tastes are so eclectic and I've seen so much good content this week that it's making it hard to stick to one category! lol

Here are my top picks for the art/photography/music categories:

  1. Let's start with @christiesnelson's "Time-lapse of 30 paintings in 1min 41sec"

  2. @samcornwell hit the ground running with his very 1st Steemit post "I Built a Camera!"

  3. @jessamynorchard reflects on @stellabelle's Kansas City Steemit Summer Meetup

  4. @jasonrussell had a fun portrait contest this week.

  5. And @winstonwolfe drops a load of photobombs

Oh man! That's so sweet! Thank you so much!

Oh hey, that's very kind of you. Good content always wins, right?

Thank you so much for the mention here. Also, I loved @samcornwell's post about Solarcan, and came upon that post upon your curative recommendation.

I caught the solarcan because of jazzy as well. Awesome stuff.

Good Luck!

I decided to go with the art/photography/music categories:

I just want to add a HUGE thank you for making the arts a separate category! We really need some more SP in the arts tags to help promote those that deserve it and flag those that are stealing photos without attribution. Thank you again!

I realized I should have tagged these guys since they deserve the recoginition for their great content! @daxon @soonidrift @centaurmystic @jeffhiedeman @jangaladesigns

Thank you for taking the time to view my post. I appreciate it!!

Wow..awesome..congratulations to all of you guys..

I voted r0nd0on, because he is in the thick of the minnowsupport, helping all the rest of us. Helping the helpers seems like it would go the farthest in helping us all ;)

This is a man who knows his way around STEEMIT. Nicely done @r0nd0n !

PS: Got yourself a new active and involved follower!

I'm just getting started myself, but @aggroed's Minnow Support Project has given me a huge boost in getting around.

I know man, I know :) I'm there as well ... I find it amazing to be honest.

Welcome to the contest!

How did you get yours to appear like that?

Using Windows? Use the Snipping Tool, copy whatever your selection is, then use the HTML code to wrap the image in a link. like this:

Thank you, I will try that next time!

I took 5 separate screen shots and then tagged them with html to their respective posts.

Thanks, I will give it a go!

What a cool contest! And you made your post look so organized too. Organization and decisiveness are perpetuals struggles for me - but here goes :-) Category 3 * I know 2 posts here sort of fall somewhere between category 1 & 3 - but I think they fit in Cat 3 - because one is a success story, and the minnow support project is people paying it forward - which in my mind, fits the category of Life !

https://steemit.com/life/@whatamidoing/the-world-and-what-you-do-with-it-1-empathy-and-why-the-future-is-bright

https://steemit.com/minnowsupportproject/@followbtcnews/have-you-joined-the-minnowsupport-project-yet (*I just love what the project represents!)

https://steemit.com/gifteconomy/@whatamidoing/optimism-at-the-end-of-the-world-4-what-do-you-have-to-offer-to-the-gift-economy

Well here goes my application! Hopefully I fit the requirements and meet standards :)

Because I'm only two weeks into SteemIt, my favorite posts to read fit in the first category, Steem Help/Guides. I find myself always looking for different posts and tools that can help me further understand Steem and hopefully help others. When I started, everyone was so confusing for me so it's only fitting that I pay it forward by commenting or resteeming in order to help other newcomers as well. Kind of like the MinnowSupportProject mission statement! Anyways, here are my five links.

This one the author doesn't specify to SteemIt specifically but he talks about great life advice and how to spend your time. I think it's particularly well written and does apply to most of us on SteemIt because we all want to live the best lives we possibly can.

I like this contest. My curation doesn't fall into one category but I'll try to arrange them that way. Great content is great content. Mostly category 3. I like to see into peoples lives. Their best content is themselves. Thankyou for your consideration.

I'm pretty proud of this one. Resteemed and upvoted when it was under a dollar. And it took off after. Great cause. Any awareness I can get it I will. #veterans

Awesome, welcome to the contest!

A fellow Texan! And a trucker? Oh Hell! Funny how neither one of us fit into the typical crypto nerd stereotype yet here we both are!

Read my last post, I was a geek long before I became a trucker, but crypto still confuses the hell out of me!

I have been watching and buying and collecting crypto for about 2 years. Just when I think I have it figured out the market changes. All I really know for sure is I want to be involved. No doubt blockchain is the way of the future. Not just for currency.

Look up the Crypto-Bit Brothers on youtube. These two old farts that are into crypto. They have helped me a lot with their vids. Its great stuff.
