The Steem House Angel Whale Contest - Help us find a partner, and win lifelong rewards!
We are looking for an "Angel Whale" to partner with us, and need your help spreading the word!
We wrote a few days ago about looking for a silent partner, and have decided to kick our search in to high gear! If you read that post, you'll learn that we are essentially looking for someone with the means to help our business succeed by covering our rent for the first two years. That may sound crazy at first, but let me explain why we believe this goal is very attainable.
That two year lease will cost as much as $36,000 USD. At the time of writing, the value of STEEM is $1.89, and SBD are at $2.44, according to steemdollar.com.
This means that two year lease can be completely covered for under 20,000 STEEM, or just less than 15,000 SBD. Even those numbers may seem high to many, but there are plenty of people on Steemit who have way more than that just sitting around liquid in their wallets. This could be a few drops in the bucket to the right whale, and that whale would be one of three owning partners, entitled to all the benefits and profits that entails.
Here's where you come in!
Where looking for talented writers to help us spread the word about our newest endeavor, and we're giving away the last bit of Dream Team stake (a 15 STEEM value that will earn you weekly payments from @thesteemhouse for life!), as well as 10 shares in the @steembasicincome program! Here are the rules:
Write a post explaining what The Steem House is, and what we are looking for in a partner. Be as detailed as possible, and try to include info about how we have already raised nearly 2000 STEEM from our Dream Team.

Winners and Prizes
When all submissions have been gathered, we will have the public vote on their favorite, and two others they liked. The winner will be determined by a point system:
- A submission will get 2 points for every person who "favorites" that post.
- Another point will be awarded to any post that is chosen as a runner up.
After one week of voting, points will be tallied, and winners will be announced. The prizes for this contest are as follows:
- 1st place will win 4 @steembasicincome shares, and a 0.75% portion of all Dream Team payments for life!
- 2nd place will win 3 @steembasicincome shares
- 3rd place will win 2 @steembasicincome shares
- And one 'Honorable Mention' ( chosen by @thatsweeneyguy ), will be awarded 1 @steembasicincome share
We're eager to get to work, so if you help us find our angel investor, we'll make sure our appreciation is shown!

This looks like a really good initiative that you have going. Unfortunately, this is the first I have really heard of this. That being said I don't feel like I know enough about it to participate in the contest. It sounds like is a great way to give back and support other members of Steemit though. Thanks for sharing!
That's a great plan! I love that you're asking other people to get involved. I'm sure that will work out well and hopefully you can catch a whale who would like to help out. If you look at 15,000 sbd/steem, that doesn't REALLY sound like TOO much... A lot to me, but not to some. Hope this project goes well!!
