RE: Creativity Contest 1st Edition: Round #6 - (Win All the SBD generated by the post and more)
Indifference
"After a certain age, things don't seem to matter anymore," he sat there and thought. He has spent 50 years of his life in the same neighborhood he was born in. He has seen people come and go and then a lot of people come in and not go. They've crowded his hometown, the ancient brick lanes, the historical nooks and corners. He can't breathe like he could anymore.
The playground he spent his childhood in is a shopping complex now, the well he drew water to drink from has no traces of its existence left, his school made of wood and bricks is a concrete sanatarium now. "But does all of this really matter to me?," he asks himself, "I guess not. Not when I have spent more than half of my life building memories around me."
