.$1,000 Holiday Contest: Santa's Helper 2017 for Sharing Society
In honor of the season and giving we're going to start our first ever contest here exclusively on Steemit!
The rules are simple, just follow pre-conditions and ACTION below! Win $500 worth of Cryptocurrency (of your choosing), but I'm sure Steemit users will prefer STEEM, Steem Power or Steem Dollars. For the full $1,000 complete the bonus task at the bottom.
PRE-CONDITIONS:
- You Must follow us @sharingsociety
- Enter your email for our free newsletter at SharingSociety.org
- We will judge the effectiveness of your support with the potential to reward 2nd or 3rd places at our discretion.
ACTION:
You simply must demonstrate some form of helping in your community this holiday season.
- Record yourself/family/friends helping people in need or something in your local community.
- You must mention the contest and SharingSociety* in the video and in the title.
- Post the video to Dtube and/or YouTube.
- If you make a post or tweet hashtag #SharingSociety
- Leave a link to your video in the comments of this post. To learn how to create a steemit account, click here.
EXAMPLES:
- Providing warm clothes for homeless in need
- Donating to your local shelter
- Shoveling snow in dangerous roads if you're in a snowy region
- Buy/Donate/Wrapping gifts for less fortunate families for Christmas
- Picking up trash in busy or dirty areas of your city
- Donating fresh produce to soup kitches, community members etc.
- Sharing your house, christmas meal or gifts with someone less fortunate
- Giving away random acts of kindness (small gifts, hugs, well wishes) to people in public

We're offering a bonus to take it to the next level. If you enjoy helping in your local community (giving, sharing, trading, improving the local economy/environment etc.) start your OWN chapter of Sharing Society with your community name! (e.g. "Sharing Society - Arlington, TX"). Create your own YouTube/DTube/Steemit/Website [at least one required] and post a minimum of 1 video helping in your community per week for the month of January to receive the bonus.

i love to help other needy peoples but i have never took a selfie or clicked any picture to show that i am helping...i may not get any reward by not providing any video of my kindness and humbleness in this contest...even though i will always offer my helping hands to the needy ones...not just to be rewarded in this contest...every person should help others if they need you...your one helping hand may showers happiness in their lifes....and the God will reward you for this...i love to help others who is needy..it gives me happiness from the bottom of my heart...:)
Great heart, I can understand not wanting to be on film I could make an exception if you just record what you're doing and its believable that its your original video with no editing stolen footage
yeah you are right its easy to say that you are humble and shairing but no one do believe if they didn't see that actually doing...And okay thanku for that exception @shairingsociety now i am looking forward, definitely try to avail a video which you can rely upon...:)
i do help to the needy ones but through my own pocket money..which i do not gets much as you can understand that being a student my parents does not allow much but yes whatever amount i gets i use to give a part of that money or sometimes how much do i have at that moment to provide...whether its less or more...:)
may be the video which i post would not be like offering much to be consider me as a helping person but still it doesn't matter to me to...if you don't consider that a good charity then that would be okay..no issue...i am actually liking the concept that by this concept many of were trying to proving help to the ones who actually needs it, that is the best thing for me...loving it feeling really happy...i appriciate your work...lots of love to you..keep doing keep helping...:)

Does running a Fundraiser on Facebook for a non-profit count towards any of these qualifications? I have been running one for the past 3 days and if I was eligible I would donate half the winnings to the non-profit.
