I think the future of Steem is reliant on the users who believe in it's utility. The fact is, it is 200X faster than Bitcoin. Steem averages a 3 second blocktime/transfer speed. $0 fee on all transfers of any size. Currently over 1,000,000 average daily transactions. To see this platform go away seems highly improbable. So given the information I have, Steem is only going to be growing. It will take only ONE mainstream source to "discover" the utility value of Steem, and BOOM it will go to mars, forget about the moon. Steem is one of the most useful and efficient coins I've seen, and the platforms built around it are for the betterment of humans lives. It does take effort, but I believe that Steems value will shoot up in proportion to the active users and "hype" it will receive as that grows.
