NEWBIE CONTEST (Best IntroduceYourself Post)

We all know how very much it means to start a a journey well. There are certain times when the way you begin a journey determines how you fare.

There are a lot of newbies with exceptional talent for writing but who don't have the needed support and encouragement to continue their STEEMIT career. They need to see that there's hope for them.

In the bid to see that newbies, or steem babies if you don't mind, get started on the right foot, I have decided to come up with this contest to help those new on the platform find strong footing.

What's the Contest About?

The NEWBIE INTRODUCEYOURSELF contest is a contest that seeks to bring to lime light, at least Steemit's lime light, and give those just starting the needed boost or booze to keep on Steeming.

So, beginning from today, if you are a newbie and you feel you have put in much effort in crafting your introduction post (usually your first post by the way) and you think your post is deserving of being the best introductory post among several others, then by all means hop along.

What's the Price Money?

Well, for a start, the winner will be taking home 5 SBD with the runner-up taking 3SBD. Seriously, I wish to reward more but we'll see what happens as the weeks unfold. If we get lucky, we may get more support and thus, have the ability to increase the reward and number winners. I'm looking forward to a time when we will be able to reward up to 10 awesome introductory posts.

Rules for Participation

Every game must have a rule, right? Well, this will be no exception. Here goes.
To participate in the NEWBIE INTRODUCEYOURSELF contest, you must

• Have made an awesome introductory post that will surely make people feel you put some work into it (that's pretty simple. Ain't it?)

• You must have been on STEEMIT for not less a week and not more than a month

• Have reputation of between 25-32

• Comment your price-worthy introductory post in the comment section under this post*

• Follow this account, resteem this post.

How Will the Winners Be Decided?

The winners will be decided in two ways.

• First and foremost, the comment with the highest number of upvotes has a 50% chance of winning

• The comment that the judges (not revealed at this time) feels deserve the price money has a 50% chance of winning.

Winners will be announced every Wednesday and the price money (SBD) sent to their account.
Remember, it's 5SBD for winner and 3SBD for runner-up.
