Day 39 of the Daily Steemit Selfie Challenge begins now!
Our registered players are competing against each other in an elimination endurance contest where their selfies must be posted on a daily basis and must meet the theme qualifications.
Not only must they post their qualifying selfies prior to the deadline to avoid elimination, they are also competing against one another for bonus points.

What in the world just happened? Well, while I was away, someone called @anonymous.donor dropped an additional 500 SBD into my wallet to add to the prize pool for this contest. I was planning on upping it to 550 SBD out of my own pocket for this round, so with the additional 500 SBD we are now up to 1050 SBD!

THE ELIMINATED
DAY 39 - OPPOSING FORCES
Time to get stuck between a rock and hard place....
The goal of this round is to have people suspend themselves between two objects using opposing forces. Here I am pushing one way with my back and another way with my feet, which supports my body between these two walls. You can pick trees, walls, rocks or whatever you want, but you'll have to support yourself with opposing forces.
If you cannot tell beyond a shadow of a doubt by your selfie, please have someone else take a verification photo, like the last tow that @mama-pepper took for me.
Only attempt this if you CAN do it. One way or another people have to get eliminated. Be safe if you try.
Please remember as well, that the goal is to have all players take a new, qualifying selfie each day to enter into this contest.
Reply to this post with your qualifying selfie by 7:00 pm (CST) tomorrow to avoid elimination. As always, no entry post is required, but you are free to make a post featuring your entry if you want to. Ok we are back from town. I backed the van up where it was before. Better angle this time @papa-pepper. Decided to get my big ol butt ABOVE the license plates so there is no doubt. I may have put a slight dent in the back of @essentialoilmom's van but I don't think she noticed so we are all good. ;)

@papa-pepper we were heading out for the evening. We're already gone. He said it's ok if you take the quickdraw away from him. He didn't read the rules that it had to be clear. He rushed to do it before we left. He will do a different photo tomorrow. :)
I witnessed the photo. His butt is big, but he wasn't sitting on the bumper. If we weren't in a rush to leave, it would have been a better picture.

This was embarrassingly harder for me than it should have been. I'm literally out of breath as I type this. 😲
I tried several spots outside. We have a LOT of HUGE rocks here... but I couldn't get a good shot (I'm alone, but with selfie stick😁).
I almost climbed up a large tree for what LOOKS like the perfect spot, but decided to try something closer to the ground instead.🙃
I found it ! A perfectly straight tree next to the garage. I climbed up about 4 feet (so my head was at the edge of the gutter) and positioned myself... and fell. 😆 I'm not hurt, though my hip feels a little weird. 😏

It was a balmy 40 degrees Fahrenheit (4.44 Celcius) 😜, thus my extra long leg warmers and fingerless mittens. ❄️

What a terrific shot, and the look on your face is priceless! I'm glad you have no serious injury! My back was pressing into the edge of a bathroom counter top, and i was left with a red mark across my back. All is good, though!
