Dalu so, @cwen. Ekene kwa gi. I'm not from South-Eastern Nigeria, but from South-South. Pursuit of my first degree and masters was what made me go to the East ( Anambra & Enugu States). That was orchestrated by my dad who wanted me to go to a Catholic University (Madonna University, Okija) by all means. Fate took me ESUT. All students had to transfer to ESUT, affiliated to Madonna at that time (I997). A few years after my graduation from ESUT in 1999, I gained admission into the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) to pursue my masters degree. So two degrees (B.Sc & M.Sc) were what I got from the East. Something else that would have been good turned out to be a complete nightmare. I'm so glad to be alive to tell my story 🕺🕺🕺.
