I have about 2 things that i want to complain about but i'll keep the other one for next week.
I want to complain about whats been happening with me and my friends at work this week. I don't know why i constantly find myself in this predicament where people try to rephrase my words. so i have a coworker that we get along very well. In fact i think others are a bit envious as we have worked together for about 9 years and are best friends. while most other people constantly complain about their co workers. we don't. A bit about my coworker-Melvin- He is the nicest guy in the world. Very hard working and helpful. As someone who works with challenging patients at times, having him around is very valuable. He is is always willing to help and has the best attitude ever. In short, his kind is simply rare. Even when i get mad at him i still don't want to work with anyone else- He is also a multimodality employee and works in other departments.
So one day i had to leave and go home and my coworker Melvin was logged into the computer. He had to sign out so the next shift can use it- he forgets pretty often to do that. At that time, Melvin was in Cat scan giving the Cat scan guy a break. So when i go over there to remind Melvin to log out, the guy says why don't i log out for Melvin. I said because i can't, i don't have his password. and he says i should be able to. I was like how? i would if i could. i guess it doesn't seem like a big deal now, but at the time it bothered me because i don't want to give the impression or be made to look like i want to make Melvin do every single thing. He works hard and i never want to take him for granted and when people make comments like that it offends me.
So when i met the Cat scan guy on his way to lunch i asked him 'how do you expect me to log into him account when i don't have his password' and he goes 'you guys are pretty close, i thought you have his password'... i just said 'u crazy'. i felt a little bad after because he is an older guy also and i don't want to be disrespectful but i hope that made him realize that i didn't like what he said.
