Everything you said about how you felt alive and didn't really want to drink any more was exactly what happened to my bf. He really almost never wants a drink and so when he does it is no problem. I honestly don't know what we would have done without it- his attitude when on alcohol was terrible and ruining our relationship <3
Mine is not in the creative writing category, but highly informative and nuanced on a subject I feel is extremely important given the state of our prescription meds epidemic <3
I wonder if the pain releiving power of kratom is the placebo effect. Ive tried it myself to no effect, but everbody's different. Nice post, very informative.
definitely not a placebo. I don't have pain, but kratom has a very specific feel, like alcohol or caffeine or kava. You know immediately if you've had alcohol or caffeine, there is no mistaking one for the other. Maybe you got a weaker strain, didn't take enough or have a high tolerance to opiates, which act on similar receptors. Whether is specifically helps peoples pain is a personal thing, as everyone's pain is different and their chemical makeup is different. It definitely does something, that is for sure.
This has my vote! I'm a huge advocate for kratom! Kratom has done wonders for my life.

Oh cool. I've never heard of this before so it's nice to know something like this can be ingested.
If it's in the family of coffee though I wonder if I will drink it. I don't drink coffee but I like chocolate. Hehe.
