Win SBD: Write FROM my Music
Those of you who are already following me will be familiar with my work as a writer and visual artist. What you may not know about me is that I am a musician as well, and have been recording my own original Instrumental Tracks for some time now. And so this has given me an idea for a contest:
WRITE ME A STORY BASED ON MY SONG
All submissions must be original works of fiction / nonfiction written for this contest. To qualify you will need to follow these steps:
- Upvote and resteem this post.
- Listen to my song "The Restless Wandering Shade" at Dsound using the link below.
- Write an original story based on my song between 50 - 1500 words in length.
- Make a post in your channel and post the link in the comment section here.

The first stage of the contest runs until this Friday Midnight EST North America. On Saturday by noon I will post the top three and then open the contest for voting of 1st place (2nd and 3rd will be based on how many votes for 1st each got, to keep it simple). This will run until Sunday Midnight. Monday noon I will announce the winners and pay out the prizes.
Please note I will be checking for duplicated content. I want original stories inspired by my music. This is a trail run for this contest; if all goes well I will make it a weekly event.

What was the first time I attempted something on this order, although I thought about it in the past because music does move me in a poetic way. :)
I was thinking about doing something like this a long time ago, very awesome. My internet connection is unstable with streaming stuff, I’ll try to listen when I get good connection!
