The amount of data stored online cannot be quantified and likewise the amount of information resource available.
With the Internet, we have achieved much, so much that cannot be measured.
Individuals, groups and organisations have harnessed the potential of the internet online service and have carved out a niche, a distinct saneness for themselves.
In this time and age, even toddlers have need for the use of the internet.

The Internet of Things is a spin-off or rather a brain child of the internet that transcends beyond online accessibility. The Internet of Things is an extension of the Internet that has been developed to capture data useful to any food or interface infused into appliances called IOT Devices to serve the user better.

Use Case

Imagine having a State Of The Art house fully equipped with devices and appliances that performs functions without you having to do them yourself. A house 🏡 with light sensors that comes on and goes off when there is need for it and the presence of life is sensed. Imagine window blinds rolling up by themselves during the day to welcome sunlight and comes down at night when the winds are cold and mini bots cleaning up mess on the floor.
Imagine a house where almost every human capability and function is carried out by smart appliances and technology. This is only a fraction of what the Internet of things is about.

There are 7 crucial Internet of Things characteristics:

Connectivity : This doesn’t need much further explanation. Devices, sensors, they need to be connected: to an item, to each other, actuators, a process and to ‘the Internet’ or another network.

Things :Anything that can be tagged or connected as such as it’s designed to be connected. From sensors and household appliances to tagged livestock. Devices can contain sensors or sensing materials can be attached to devices and items.

Data :Data is the glue of the Internet of Things, the first step towards action and intelligence.

Communication :Devices get connected so they can communicate data and this data can be analyzed.

Intelligence :The aspect of intelligence as in the sensing capabilities in IoT devices and the intelligence gathered from data analytics (also artificial intelligence).

Action :The consequence of intelligence. This can be manual action, action based upon debates regarding phenomena (for instance in climate change decisions) and automation, often the most important piece.

Ecosystem:The place of the Internet of Things from a perspective of other technologies, communities, goals and the picture in which the Internet of Things fits. The Internet of Everything dimension, the platform dimension and the need for solid partnerships.

The internet of value is the use of internet on a higher and applicable scale that involves value creation through data transfer package to where they are needed. This transfer of value undergoes many transfer processes and layers of authorization before implementation occurs.
