Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - Tuesday of Antarctica and world´s oceans - where the winner of the weekly round will be able to participate for the total of 200 SBD! Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Antarctica but I am also adding world´s oceans to the same challenge since not many people have actually visited Antarctica.

Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture can be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 20 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 200 SBD in total.

Please see the winners of the previous daily contests and give them your support if you like their images to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Asian Sunday week #16 – winner announcement!

@narchuk Asian Sunday entry:

It happened in Thailand, in the Andaman Sea. At the very end of the dive I saw a sea turtle. She swam from coral to coral and did not notice my presence. Turtles are very calm, if you do not touch them. I swam next to her doing a frame-by-frame. At some point a flock of small fish swept past us. It lasted just a couple of seconds. I managed to make only one photo.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – Australian Monday week #16 – winner announcement!

@vinceboisgard Australian Monday entry:

Stormy night over Darwin, this is a view from Nightcliff rocky beach if a thunder storm striking Darwin in the Northern territory of Australia. There nothing quite like it, I found it amazing to watch a bit like a firework.

This is a view of the Indian Ocean coastline and the famous Hindu temple Tanah Lot. This temple is a very popular location especially for sunsets which I sadly didn't get a chance to see from there. The legends say that holy sea snakes protect the temple but I did not confirm that for myself.

Nice, I really love this place. Tanah lot is a very cool place to visit 😀

The sea is alive. We rarely look beyond the surface. Perhaps for this reason a person allows himself to throw away all sorts of waste. We dived in the Philippines near Balikasag. At the very end of the dive I saw a huge flock of jack-fish. It kept the whole place from bottom to surface. The rest of the day we sailed near it. Wandered among a huge number of fish. It was an unforgettable experience.

This is stunning! Great shot, I love it 😀

I believe it is a winning photo )

I hope so)

A seaside view of New Zealand's most scenic volcano Mt Taranaki. A blue in blue picture; the mountain, the sky and the ocean differ only by the shade of the same color. The blue of the water is the deepest, same as the water itself

What a warm welcome. On our first day on Phi Phi Island, we enjoyed this breathtaking sunset. The Phi Phi Islands are one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand with lovely beaches and crystal clear waters. The Phi Phi Islands are located in the Andaman Sea, in the Bay of Bengal, in the Indian Ocean.

Empty isolated beach with powdery white sand in a little known coastal town of Xcacel, Riviera Maya, Mexico. The color of the Caribbean Sea is just as turquoise as it gets there. There are majestic coconut palms all along the beach, providing shade for those who don’t want to get burnt by the ever-shining sun :) Image taken a few months ago.

stunner! what a beautiful day.

It was indeed. Thanks :)

When I first met the Ocean

We had been driving out of Lisbon to the south when the road led us to the coast. And I saw the ocean. And the setting sun. The colors were so beautiful! We stopped at the first place we had found I grabbed my gear and ran to the beach. Lucky me! It was Praia da Sines with these beautiful wooden stairs and the stones on the sandy beach. The first meeting was gorgeous. I knew there is more to come.

A view over the Indian ocean shot from the top of the cliff in Bali. The clouds and the sky are almost coloured if the same tones and the rain is pouring down on the ocean. Tiny fishing boats sailing along the coast are almost lost in the immensity of this ocean.

Location: Bali, Indonesia.

Here is a photo I took of a group of penguins on the beach we went to. The beach was a nesting ground for the penguins and was an amazing experience to be up close and personal with some of my favorite animals in the world.

It's great dear and keep it up, thanks for sharing.

Your Thailand Pic reminded me my last trip to Phi-Phi Islands, the water was so clean, here I am sharing one of my clicks with you guys.

Surfing into the sunset

When I was an exchange student in Tasmania five years ago, I attended a surf camp organized by my college. This weekend was an amazing experience and I actually learned the basics of surfing while enjoying the beautiful Tasmanian coast!
