Tell A Story To Me #6 - Another Chance to Win - Story Round Up - Tell Me Your Favorite To Win @steembasicincome
Win A Prize when you vote for your favorite story!
Welcome back to the second part of round 5 - help me give even more prizes away!
Read the entries below, let me know which one you liked the most, and why, for a chance to win 1 @steembasicincome
The winner will either be the most well thought out nomination, or if we get a lot of good nominations, chosen at random from those. You don't have to have written a story to vote and win! Just tell me which stories you liked, and why, and which one was your favorite!
All the authors have also been invited to come back and vote, their votes will be tallied and Authors Choice will be an additional 1SBD and 1 @steembasicincome share
If we get more than 5 votes from people who did not enter a story this round, I will be offering an additional prize based on those votes, if we have less than 5 public votes, they will be combined with the authors votes. If we get a lot of public votes, I will be offering an additional 1SBD to the most well thought out votes that don't win!
The Entries
In no particular order the entries to vote on! Cast your vote by commenting with the user who you think should win, let me know why you are voting for them to be in with a chance of winning yourself!
I am so sorry if I have missed anyone, give me a shout in the comments and I will update the post and notify the other entrants
I missed @mervin-gil in the first posting of this, sincere apologies!!
I am allowing a whole week for voting this time, results and next round will be up next weekend (aiming for June 30th)!
Thank you so much for the fantastic stories, I am so excited to start judging. I have made myself wait until all the entries are in and collated to read them, and it has been so hard to resist!
I am so honored to have so many great entries, and so pleased that the @curie vote has found it's way to a fair few entrants over the rounds, it really does reflect what a talented group of authors you are.
By no means is anyone asked to resteem, but of course, if we get enough public votes, there will be another prize on offer for the authors!
Awesome a great reading list for this weekend!! I'll get to it.
Ok so my public vote is for @mervin-gil
Celsius was easy to read and had some great hooks. The main thing I liked about it was the coming of age aspect of Kenya's new duties and the parental reluctance. Some of my favorite sci-fi authors use this like Robert Heinlein in Starship Troopers and Joe Haldeman in his Worlds series. The transition from parent to child in the story works really well because it helps me care about the characters and form a bond with them although I think it could have used an extra paragraph transitioning in between or simply some kind of visual line-break/graphic. In such a short piece I already see a family and environment with ample conflict. My opinion is purely based on what I enjoy stylistically while reading.
@f3nix 's was also fantastic. I like stories about transformation and the "blossoming" was very powerful. A metamorphosis then and a very creative way of writing it.
Thank you my friend ;-) I was a bit introspective, next time I want to be more gruesome (I always say this).
I thought it had a lot of tension that was far greater than any gruesome thing you could have done! Well done <3

Hi @calluna, nice to see you here, hope you're doing fine! :)
I've been wondering why I was not selected on this contest when I have posted my entry for Thermal Apocalypsis before the deadline. Am I disqualified?
Kind regards!
Oh gosh I am so sorry! I was certain I had seen an entry by you, but I went off the original post when I put this together and just found it under the reminder, I should have double checked there too! I will add it in right now. Thank you so much for letting me know!! :)
No problem friend, I imagined you couldn't find my story because I didn't comment on your first post. My vote goes to Icarus, it is such an amazing story. Have a good day!
@jhnmunoz has my vote
