ICO GALACTIKKA - an Emerging Social Network

Does Steemit have a competition in Galactikka - a new social network? The ICO is in the works as we speak. Beer today? No beer. But have one yourself!

From what I’ve read, I’d say that primary focus is on efficient marketing and taking the centralised nature of ads into the hands of users. In a way a second version of Facebook where you have the control over monetization.

Before going into details, there is a burning issue of English in every text on the web site as well as in the platform itself. The team have to find a competent translator. I’m sure they are working on it as I write.

And we get to your profile page which looks fairly sturdy. It reminds me of facebook design quite a lot. There are achievements on the right. Gamification element that should keep you engaged.

Find what info you are most interested in. Keep in mind this is the beginning, testing phase.

You get an option to ‘like’ the stuff you find interesting and then the author's reward becomes realized in form of the diamond, when the whole thing goes live, I’d guess.

Now, some numbers.

How much? I see quite the difference in soft and hard cap. Which means they can launch the project with minimum but they they need much more to bring the advertisement of the platform to the level where it is self sustaining much faster. Something that Steemit should work on as well, no? It was the main issue raised during Steemfest2 - marketing efforts.

When you invest in the ICO, you get GALA tokens which you earn by view count, something that is understated here on Steemit.

After the hard cap is reached, the valuation of Galactikka will be just about 4 times smaller than Steemit. Think about that. If it doubles after the ICO, there is a serious competitor in the social network crypto space!
