Bunnypuncher’s get to know the Web Contest with SBD prizes!!!
I’d like to first take a moment to thank everyone that has participated in my other contests. You guys are great and it has been a blast to host these contests. I’ve met many new Steemians that are really interesting people.
The contest:
This contest will help me and everyone get to know the world wide web. I want to learn about websites you like and visit. Doesn’t have to be your all time favorite as we learned in the music contest picking a single band / song is too hard when there are so many. So I want you to comment with one or more websites you like and visit often.
Rules:
#1) Leave a comment with at least one website url that you like and visit fairly often. Since a single website might not be enough leave up to 3 URL links if you want to share more websites or have a hard time picking just one.
I would prefer websites that are interesting and cool and a bit off the beaten path. You won’t get disqualified if you list something like facebook, twitter, or steemit but that would be a lame entry. Those are well known and don’t share anything interesting that we don’t already know.
It would be nice if you resteemed this to spread the word. I'd be appreciative but won't make it a rule. I don't want to disqualify new people or people that forget. Also it would be cool if you followed me so you could see the results of the contest and up my follower count. I’m getting close to 500 and I would be a happy bunny if I hit 500 or more with this contest.
Lastly it is your upvotes that will make the contests happen and grow in size if you want bigger prizes and more contests then upvoting posts from BunnyPuncher will make that happen.
Contests payouts
The payout will be as follows for this contest.
1st place - $10 SBD
2nd place - $5 SBD
3rd place - $2.5 SBD
The more entries the more winners!
For every 25 entries starting at 50 entries, we will add another winners' slot for $2.5 SBD up to 5 places.
75 entries = 4th place winning slot for $2.5 SBD
100 entries = 5th place winning slot for $2.5 SBD
I'll give out 1 SBD to people that comment and participate usually about 1 per day (could be more but I might forget a day so it isn't guaranteed). This isn't random just me picking out people so just want to disclose that fact. I pick good entries from people and usually lean toward people that don't already have a lot of SBD or Steem to try and make more difference to people that are new to SteemIt.
Cut off time for entry will be: Friday 2nd 11:59pm.
At which time I'll pull the list of names after which entries won’t be added.

Oh what a great idea this is, we might actually find out about websites that we dont know about yet. Keep in mind, there are different versions of these kind of websites for difference extensions like .eu, .net and many others.

Whois.com, great way to find out who owns a domain name that you type in, often this information is not hidden and you can find ways to contact the owner.

That is a good point about the different versions of sites. I hadn't thought of that but if people post the main site shouldn't be too hard to figure out the different extensions. I might try and list the different ones in the final document.
Nice idea, with this contest we can somehow share some website that we don't know yet. This will be helpful to all of us

Then it was so well done and thought out I was thinking how would ships get by with this. This was a perfect entry. So much so got the 1 SBD
Thank you @bunnypuncher. I do not know actually how marinetraffic is used by ships themselves. But, it is very helpful for me in tracking my husband's ship so I will know their location, estimated time of departure (ETD), estimated time of arrival (ETA) and many other useful information. Also, when I was working in an import-export company, we were using this site to track our shipment vessels as well so it has a great use commercially unlike before that only ship operators and vessel managers have access to this. But, there are risks for vessels especially for piracy so sometimes vessel captains intentionally hide their current locations and destinations if they will be passing through "high-piracy" areas. The sites on books are really great in keeping abreast with the new book releases and new releases from your favorite authors. :)

I am a Pharmacist but I believe, I do not know EVERYTHING about drugs/medication that's why I go through this website to know and gain more knowledge in my field 😊 Also for people who needs drug infos you can check this out! It's reliable 😊 Yet I only advise checking on your over the counter medicines only.. not including prescription medicines since the best way to get the right information on those is through visiting your doctor 😊
