Only 1 DAY LEFT To Enter The First Ever "BATTLE Of The Crypto Coins" - 1st Place Wins $50 SBD, 2nd Place $25 SBD

in #contest7 years ago

Good day to you all. You have until 20:00 GMT on Sunday to enter with your coin of choice for the first ever Battle Of The Crypto Coins! You can not only win glory, but $50 Steem dollars for 1st place and $25 for 2nd place. All you have to do is choose a crypto coin (first come first served, please see current entries at bottom of post) and if gets the greatest percentage rise over the week you win. It's that simple!

Here's how to play in a bit more detail:

You don't have to have any actual crypto to enter this competition, the skill is being able to identifying the potential in coins, so all you need to do to enter is:

  1. Identify your crypto coin of choice, with a link to it's page on something like coinmarketcap, for example -
    Xtrabytes (XBY) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xtrabytes/

  2. A brief explanation into why you have chosen it, for example - Xtrabytes developers think they may have found a solution to scalability issues.

  3. Reply to this post with your entry by 20:00 GMT (19.00 UTC) this Sunday (27th August 2017)

  4. To confirm your entry please upvote this post.

Here's an example of a perfect entry:

How the winners are chosen:

The winners are chosen by the coin with the greatest percentage increase. Just after 20:00 on 27th August I will log the price of your coins entry, and throughout the following week provide updates on who is making the best progress.

The finishing prices will logged at 20:00 (GMT) on Saturday 2nd October to decide that weeks winner.

PRIZES:

I understand that crypto coins are often long term investments, so here's where it get's interesting. There will be TWO different time durations that coins will be judged on.

  1. A weekly prize of $50 SBD for the greatest percentage increase, and $25 SBD for 2nd place. (I'm hoping to be able to increase this in future competitions)
  • You can enter the same coin each week, but please note that it is on a first come first served basis, once a person has claimed a certain coin others competitors must choose another coin.

2 ) A prize for the greatest percentage increase over the MONTH, to be judged at 20:00 on Sunday 24th September. I will begin a prize pool, and so donate a certain amount of upvotes from my weekly "Battle Of The Crypto Coins" posts, so the better this competition does, the greater the prize.

  • Only coins entered by the 27th September will be entered for the monthly prize draw. If you miss this, you can still enter the weekly competitions.

Note: I am also going to do a Battle Of The Crypto Coins - 6 Month Competition, for entries judged over a 6 month period, with a prize pool based on upvotes (so hopefully huge) please watch out for updates on this.

Here are the entries so far:

@arturomdg - Aethernity

@carrieallen - Basic Attention Token
@revswim - TenX Pay
@owenwat - CannabisCoin
@ddot - Santiment SAN

If you could resteem this post to help spread the word, and in return grow the prize fund, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks for reading, and I'm looking forward to seeing your entries.

Good luck.
