The update is just fantastic, people joining can see that it is still pretty much an open contest, and that there is more involved to IFC than meets the eye. I like the new level system, and how it gives an individual points based upon multiple paths. If an individual feels they are falling behind, they can go on a hunt for new players, and or go and leave some well thought out comments. I think that is great, a vote is a vote on a page, I myself have gotten a little cynical at seeing a large number of votes, and no comments on post. I know people are pressed for time and such, but I really like the comments. Comments add to a post most of the time and some of them are just so damned funny. Well enough more votes to go.
Absolutely agree. Right now and with the format people could join whenever and have a chance at winning! Especially seeing all the awesome art from round 14! It seems like some real talent is coming into the Digital Castle.
I think a little decorating wouldn't hurt! Good times ahead :)
Glad to hear you like the changes! I think they are pretty good too. :) And most of it came from the players and judges themselves! This game is largely built by everyone who participates which I think is great. :)
Also.. I agree with pretty much everything you said! Good observations. I'm tempted to give you the ladder right now cause it's a great comment.. :D
In fact.. There was one you did a while ago that really deserved it! You had this great funny comment where you mentioned numerous of the other competitors, I should go back and find that comment and give you the ladder for that one, that one was epic!
But yeah, hopefully some of these ideas help improve the engagement and umm.. Socializing aspects more among those connected to the contest. Thanks for sharing your thoughts bashadow!
