Correct Answer: B - Squid

Squid was developed initially as the Harvest object cache and was released in 1996. Its uses include speeding up a web server by caching repeated requests, caching web, DNS and other computer network lookups for a group of people sharing network resources, and aiding security by filtering traffic. It is free software released under the GNU General Public License and now developed almost exclusively by volunteers.
