Anything done in good faith that might help a person get free of his miseries should not be illegal.Euthanasia directly comes from Greek words"eu" meaning "good" and "thanatos"meaning" death" which means a good death.One should have a right to end his life if he feels that dying would be better than what he has to go through.For example, a brain dead person leads a life which has sufferings beyond measure.He is no better than a vegetable.So why to keep his sufferings if he is not intersted to live such a life?Dying once is far better than dying each moment .Rules and regulations regarding euthanasia are strict and it is done only in cases where it is necessary.It is not murder.So I don't think it should not be legalised as long as the laws regulating it are strict enough to avoid mishaps and help it to serve the proper purpose.
