Contents Protocol is a content exchange Protocol on which content providers, the platform, and users can coexist and collaborate in a sustainable manner.
Technology
The Contents Protocol project involves solving three problems:
- High Commission platforms-distributors of content (30-70%)
- Lack of transparency in the relationship between content providers and distribution platforms (the provider cannot verify how many times a movie has been viewed, etc.)
- Lack of incentives to engage users in the work of the platform (ratings, reviews, etc.)
The solution to these problems, the platform developers see in the creation of a decentralized platform that divides the сommission between content creators and platform users who contribute to the work of the platform. The platform will distribute the following content: TV, Music, comics, e-books. Content creators will receive more than 75 percent of earnings, the Commission of the platform will be 5-10 %, the rest will be distributed among users. The work of the platform is provided by smart contracts.
The Protocol uses two types of ERC-20 CPT and CP Power tokens.
CPT tokens will be used as a means of payment within the platform. With this token, payments will be made to users who contribute to the development of the network. CP Powers tokens are used as network staking and cannot be sold directly. They can be exchanged for CPT tokens in 1:1 format with a 4-week lockup. The more tokens CPT will be converted to tokens CP Power, the smaller will be the amount in circulation СРТ tokens. The more users/service providers put their CP Power tokens in the staking, the more profit they will get, the more content and use of the Contents Protocol platform will be. This scheme should stimulate the retention of tokens on the balance of users and the growth of their value. In addition to payment for services in tokens, it is possible to pay for services in Fiat, while the platform will direct 15% of funds for the repurchase of CPT tokens
