"Real Life" Do we care?

Hello, I am new here and just looking around to get a feel for what is happening here at Steemit.

I have come across a couple of posts so far that I think will help me to be a better participant of the site however, I do believe I need considerable help in ideas for content, as I do have a blog started, I am very much lacking in the proper skills I feel I need.

One question I have is this, are posts about daily lives encouraged here, whether they are happy or sad? or would it serve me better to only write posts of a more non-personal nature?
