Contact Center Services subject for SHS

Why do they need to study contact center services? What makes this subject special?
I have 34 units of Masters in Science of Environmental Management an undergraduate of Bachelor Science of Biology. Right after graduating I worked as a teacher in a Health Science School. What made me decide to work in a BPO industry?
I worked in a BPO industry for almost 7 years. I took calls for 8 hours (sometimes more than 8hours) a day and 5 days a week. It is graveyard shift and you have to struggle to office at night so that you can log in on time.
Despite the graveyard shift and challenges, the industry made me more responsible and realize that if you want to earn more you have to work hard.
This subject would help students learn about the US Culture, Location and time. They learn to understand the basic english language. Learning english can boost confidence and effective communication skills. Working in a call center would help their financial concerns as High School graduate can work even without a college degree. They may benefit from health insurance and incentives. This subject can give them a headtstart on what to do if they work in a call center.
Students may or may not work in a call center but this is a good practice to enhance your phone, chat and email etiquette.
