Conspiracy in our government #2 and campaign promises !

Fellow steemians, this is number two of my series, “conspiracy in Nigeria government” today i want to talk about the promises made by our president during his campaign;
During his presidential campaign, President Buhari made a lot of promises to Nigerians. His party, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) promised the people ‘change’ which they believed was certainly going to transform Nigeria. Nigerians who were already tired of the PDP-led administration decided to try this change and it appears a few of the president's promises are fantastically unbelievable.

I can remember vividly how the prices of some commodities were in Nigeria before he came into power; before he came into power, US dollar was one hundred and eight five Naira, and if you want to get it very fast from mallams, you get it about two hundred Naira. Now as of the time am writing this blog US dollar is three hundred and sixty six Naira, yes thank God that it came down to this level, because we bought it with five hundred and fifty Naira sometimes ago.

Cement were sold for one thousand three hundred Naira, and today is two thousand five hundred and fifty Naira.

Rice where six thousand five hundred to seven thousand Naira and now is eighteen thousand Naira.

A bag of garri were two Thousand five hundred and now is eighteen thousand Naira. To mention but few.

And below are the promises made to better the sufferings of Nigerians=

1. I will reduce fuel price to 45naira per liter when we were buying it 87 naira Now the price is 145.
2. There will be free education at all level. Where are we now?
3. I will pay 23 million people 5,000 every month. Lols;
4. I will increase minimum wage and place every graduate in salary for extra 1 year after their youth service. Are we still waiting?
5. One free meal (including fruits) for public primary school pupils daily. I will look for a child and ask for that.
6. I will revive all our refinery in my first one year in office and build more to produce more for our domestic consumption.
7. I will crush boko haram in my first three months in office. Are we still hearing of boko haram or not?
8. Three million jobs for one year.
9. I will stop importation of refined products.
10. Stabilizing the Naira.

Now how far have we gone? That is the question in the mind of every Nigerian.
And we where told that N78,325,354,631.82, $185,119,584.61, £3,508,355.46 and €11, 250 were recovered from looters between May 29, 2015 and May 25, 2016. And we are still hungry? This is it

The Federal Government made cash recoveries totaling N78,325,354,631.82 (Seventy eight billion, three hundred and twenty-five million, three hundred and fifty-four thousand, six hundred and thirty one Naira and eighty two kobo); $185,119,584.61 (One hundred and eight five million, one hundred and nineteen thousand, five hundred and eighty four US dollars, sixty one cents); 3,508,355.46 Pounds Sterling (Three million, five hundred and eight thousand, three hundred and fifty-five Pounds and 46 Pence) and 11, 250 Euros (Eleven thousand, two hundred and fifty Euros) from 29 May 2015 to 25 May 2016.
In a statement in Lagos on Saturday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, also disclosed that recoveries under interim forfeiture (cash and assets) during the period totalled N126,563,481,095.43 (One hundred and twenty six billion, five hundred and sixty three million, four hundred and eighty one thousand, and ninety five Naira, forty three Kobo; $9,090,243,920.15 (Nine billion, ninety million, two hundred and forty three thousand, nine hundred and twenty Dollars, fifteen cents; 2,484,447.55 Pounds Sterling (Two million, four hundred and eighty four thousand, four hundred and forty seven Pounds, fifty five Pence) and 303,399.17 Euros (Three hundred and three thousand, three hundred and ninety-nine Euros, 17 cents ).
According to the statement, which is based on the interim report on the financial and assets recoveries made by the various government agencies from 29 May 2015 to 25 May 2016, the funds awaiting return from foreign jurisdictions total $321,316,726.1 (Three hundred and twenty one million, three hundred and sixteen thousand, seven hundred and twenty six Dollars, one cent); 6,900,000 Pounds (Six million, nine hundred thousand Pounds) and 11,826.11 Euros (Eleven thousand, eight hundred and twenty six Euros, 11 cents).

Now why are we still begging to know to the names of the looters huh? If there is no conspiracy in the system. The spade suppose to call by it’s name for my own thinking, but no!, nobody have the right to know them.

Okay fine, we don’t care about the people that loots the money, should we see it and use them and probably come out of the recitation? Why are we suffering and smiling according to our great musician (Fela Anikolakpo kuti) this pictures below are the said money recovered from ikoyi alone. Why are we receiving this kind of treatment from our own government? Gosh! We were told that we are the giant of Africa and our fellow Nigerians are trekking out of the country for greener pasture.

God almighty, we are now depending on you, save us and the lives of our future generations from all kind of conspiracy. Amen!
