RE: I Don't Trust My Government. Do You Trust Yours? IFC Finals - Second Round
Great post! My opinion is that it's not really about whether you're a conspiracy theorist or not – that's just a label. The really important thing is whether you're a critical thinker. If you're sceptical about the "official story" of 911, and then you do research into it with an open mind, you're a critical thinker. If you're sceptical about the "official story" of 911 and then you believe everything you see on YouTube about it just because it's on YouTube, then you're probably a gullible lazy thinker, not a critical thinker.
But if you believe everything you're told by someone with an authoritative voice, wearing a suit, just because they're on the TV news, you're also a gullible lazy thinker, and not a critical thinker - and I would make exactly the same accusation towards anyone who prides themselves on their rationality and dismisses ANYTHING than veers away from their particular ideology, just in case it taints them with the socially unnacceptable tag of being a "conspiracy theorist".
Oh, and I don't believe in aliens – but that's just my personal opinion (which I explained a while back in this post).
Critical thinking is an amazing way to look at that. I like your way of thinking and I think what you said is so true. We should really be open minded and certainly not gullible!
I liked reading your post about aliens too. I was actually going to add a conspiracy theory in this post that has to do with a group of people that are believed to have far advanced technology than we could ever imagine. Without a doubt, I do believe some of the sightings from people have been the governments advanced technology.
Thanks - I'm really glad you enjoyed my post about aliens, and it's so interesting that you also think that some of the sightings could be government advanced technology.
