Conspiracy Theorists are CRAZY!!!

Conspiracy Theorists are CRAZY!!!

Tinfoil Hat Much?

We all have at least one friend that we kind of write off as crazy. We make jokes about tin-foil hats, we roll our eyes when his get all wide and excited and he starts talking all fast. He probably spends way too much time on his computer. You know the one. The (shhhh!) conspiracy theorist.

911 inside job, CIA running drugs, vaccines cause autism, chemtrails, sandy hook was set up… I mean, come on, they sound CRAZY. Our government wouldn’t do that to us, right? But what if they would? What if they have before? Is it really so crazy to think that some conspiracy theories might be true?

I’m about to blow your mind: Conspiracy theories are proven all the time. Thanks to declassification of CIA documents, whistle blowers, and other dedicated people who spend a lot of time investigating these conspiracies, we have learned a LOT about the history of government involved conspiracies. After looking through just a handful of examples you can see why there are so many men wearing tin-foil hats and consistently questioning the “official” story.

Why then is it so easy to call conspiracy theorists crazy? Why do we demonize people for questioning the government? We know politicians lie, we see corruption in government every day. Why is it so hard to believe that they might go to extreme lengths to start a war for oil or drug profits? Because the media is a very successful deception peddler- which brings me to our first conspiracy theory:

Operation Mockingbird

In the 1950’s the CIA organized a series of anti-communist propaganda operations, during which they used multiple student organizations, magazines, etc. as fronts to push through various forms of propaganda. By the mid 1950’s the CIA had some degree of control of a vast network of over 25 news and media organizations throughout the US and Europe which included The Washington Post, New York times, CBS, and Newsweek.

Operation Mockingird's network was used as an integral part of the overthrow of Guatemalan President Jacobo Arbenz Guzman (known as Operations BPFORTUNE and PBSUCCESS), which was authorized by President Harry Truman in 1954. The overthrow of Jacobo Arbenz Guzman was largely influence by lobbying by the United Fruit Company, a large american fruit import company who lost a lot of money due to new laws passed by Guzman. This is a shining example of the effects cronyism can have on foreign affairs and potentially other aspects of government.

Does it really seem so crazy that so many people are unwilling to put much trust in mainstream news outlets? These tactics would be almost as effective today, with so few news stations in the mainstream, the media holds a lot of power over which causes people sympathize with. Fortunately we have more alternative news sources, and it's easier to fact check than it was in 1954, but how many people spend the time doing that? Weirdos, that's who!

COINTELPRO

A conspiracy that continues to be relevant today, COINTELPRO was a secret FBI operation developed in the 1960’s to discredit new social and political activists in the US at the time. This operation targeted a number of social and political movements including The Black Panther Party, the Civil Rights movement (Martin Luther King Jr.), various feminist groups, white supremacy groups, Islamic groups and more.

The FBI hired individuals to commit various crimes and acts of violence which they would then blame on political activists in order to discredit their affiliated party. They used wrongful imprisonment, illegal searches, excessive police brutality, threats, slander, and even murder in an attempt to disband these groups, and all with the support of local law enforcement agencies. It is now widely accepted that the FBI was behind the death of Fred Hampton (Illinois chairman of the Black Panther Party).

Is it really such a stretch to believe that this is probably still happening? There are a number of "fringe" groups that could easily be the target of such an operation today.

The Gulf of Tonkin

The Gulf of Tonkin was a classic False Flag Operation. Originally it was believed that on August 2nd and 4th, 1964, Vietnamese torpedo ships fired at US destroyer the SS Maddox, which returned fire, on 2 separate occasions. This event pushed the US into the Vietnam war, giving Johnson authorization to use military force in Southeast Asia, "The United States is, therefore, prepared, as the President determines, to take all necessary steps, including the use of armed force, to assist any member or protocol state of the Southeast Asia Collective Defense Treaty requesting assistance in defense of its freedom."

enter image description here

There is still some controversy over whether the first incident on August 2nd took place, but it has been undoubtedly confirmed that the 2nd incident on August 4th never occured. In fact Lyndon B. Johnson stated that "for all I know, our navy was shooting at whales out there." Of course he signed off on the orders, and knew from the beginning that it was a false flag operation. Johnson even claimed the attacks were "unprovoked," on the destroyer, however he failed to mention that the Maddox was on an espionage mission in Vietnamese claimed waters.

False flag operations are one of the most common conspiracy theories, and despite being very real, with historical evidence to support them, people who question events that trigger such wars, such as 911, are vilified as nut-jobs. How can we believe that false flag operations are only a thing of the past? Look how useful they are! When the US government is using military force under the pretense of "Peace" and "Freedom," they can gain much more support.

Operation Northwoods

Another false flag operation, Operation Northwoods never actually occured. It does however, give us insight into how far the government may be willing to go to accomplish it's goals. The operation was written in 1962 by the Joint Chief of Staff, and was signed off by the Department of Defense before moving forward to President John F. Kennedy, who vetoed it.

enter image description here

It was meant to further ensure US involvement in Cuba, and stated that:

"The desired resultant from the execution of this plan would be to place the United States in the apparent position of suffering defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in the Western Hemisphere."

The operation is the most brutal false flag operation we know of, and involved using the CIA and other government agencies to carry out acts of violence and terrorism against United States citizens and military personell- both staged and real, focusing largely on Guantanamo bay, and included staging cuban attacks against the United States, "to develop justification for US military intervention in Cuba."

People say that since it wasn't actually carried out that it isn't a verified conspiracy theory, however it was drafted by our government and had the president signed off on it, it would be right there next to the Gulf of Tonkin. This is why so many people are concerned about 911, because solving 911 ends the war.

I enjoyed your article. People in power "conspire" all the time. That shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Of course not every theory of conspiracy will turn out to be true, but we need to open up our minds to the possibility that we aren't being told the truth. Then we need to look for evidence that contradicts what we are being told.

Cool article, I already have my tin foil hat.
