Two things Crypto world needs badly
Government /Congress Lobby Group in all major markets
An altruistic foundation that helps new and old crypto put in place frameworks for the greater good. "Good Crypto"
i. We need to lobby Congress to make sure they don't overstep and enact archaic rules from legacy finance to crypto. Sure some of the rules and regulation can clearly carry over and it should but most of it should be left in the past where it belongs with paper money. If we do not organize and make our interests the interest of the lawmakers we will regret it and it will cost us all much more in the future.
ii. "Good Crypto" as the future of let's say "everything" we have an opportunity to make the world truly a better place. The blockchain is a morally neutral technology as most tech is, but it doesn't have to be. We can introduce virtue at the base layer that will carry on forever for all humanity. Many of the most developed countries donate as much as 1- 1.5% of their GDP to humanitarian aid. I think we in the crypto world can at least match with a pledge from each blockchain that rewards or gas or transaction fees go to that community aid pool and they vote on where and how the funds get to the neediest via blockchain. Not only will that aid in the adoption but will also aid in lessening the suffering around the world.
Things to consider:
Helping starving children, refugees, disaster victims.
Basic human income.
Basic human healthcare.
Free Education - with a computer and an internet connection a motivated individual can learn anything BUT if one is too poor to obtain internet and a device perhaps the crypto world can provide basic internet and access to borrow a phrase " teach a man to fish."
My Suggestions are for a transparent:
Lobby Group Fund and Governance ( I have no idea how to start this)
Good Crypto Fund and Governance ( I can take a crack at this, but non-profit experts please advise)
