Do you know Generations of Computers?
Mordern life without the computer is inaccessible. Now the importance of Computure in all cases is immense.
Our journey of the five generations of computers starts in 1940 with vacuum tube circuitry and goes to the present day.
- What Are the Five Generations of Computers?
01. First Generation: Vacuum Tubes.
02. Second Generation Transistors.
03.Third Generation Integrated Circuits.
04.Fourth Generation Microprocessor.
05.Fifth Generation Artificial Intelligence.
01. First Generation:
In 1940, a first generation computer was launched and remained till 1956.During this time, magnetic drums were used for vacuum tubes and memory as circuits for computers. These computers were huge in size. As a result, there was a huge room for this computer to use. The Computer spent huge electricity. The computer was used to calculate at the time.
This first generation computer was dependent on 'machine language'. These computers could only solve one problem at a time. Punched cards and paper tape were used as input. Two major computers of this era are UNIVAC and ENIAC. UNIVAC was the first commercial computer to be bought by the United States Population Bureau in 1951.
02.Second Generation:
Second Generation has been started since 1956 and Until 1963.The second generation computers used transistors in vacuum tubes. Although transistor was first discovered in 1947 by Bell Labs, however, the transistor was not significantly used on computers before the 1950s.The transistor vacuum was much better than that of Tub, which makes the computer smaller, faster, cheaper, efficient than the first generation.
03. Third Generation:
This generation of computers ranged from 1964 to 1971.Integrated circuits are used on this generation computer. The improvement of integrated circuit is one of the features of the third generation. At this stage transistors are smaller and used instead of silicon chips, which increase the speed and efficiency of computers. Instead of punched cards and printouts in this generation, users interact with computers and monitors with computers. Users are familiar with the first operating system, which was able to manage multiple applications at once.At this stage computers were less expensive and smaller than before.Because of this generation of computers many people use.

04. Fourth Generation:
The fourth generation computer was launched in 1972, Which lasted until 2010.The main feature of this computer is the microprocessor.Thousands of Hajj Integrated Circuits are used in a silicon chip. Fourth generation computer labels were brought to the first generation computer where the entire room was covered. The Intel 4004 chip was developed in 1971. All the tools of the computer are equipped with the CPU. And in 1981 .Since these generations of computers are more powerful, computers are able to communicate with each other. Which is the start of the modern internet.

05. Fifth Generation:
The fifth generation of computer has been started since 2010.Which is artificial intelligence. The goal of fifth-generation computing is to create a device that can respond to natural language.Quantum computation and molecular and nanotechnology will radically change the face of computers in years to come. The goal of fifth-generation computing is to develop devices that respond to natural language input and are capable of learning and self-organization.
