What is Data Processor. Why Computer system called a data processor?
The activity of processing data using a computer system is called data processing. Data processing includes three sub activies,
- Collecting input data
- Calculatinfg data
- Producing data
In data processing, information is arranged data in an order and form that is usefull and understandable to people.
Data is raw material and used as output, Information is proccesed data obtained as output.
A computer system is called data processor cause it can store,process and retrieve/re use data when ever desired. Modern computer not only compute in te usual sense but also perform other function with data than flows to and form them.
